Remind App for 2024

For the 2024 season, we will again use the Remind App for quick short notifications.  But, because Remind restricts us to a limited amount of characters, we will use it in conjunction with this website.  In other words, a Remind message may very well send you to this website for more details.

With that said, all players and parents will need to sign up for the new group: CLHS Tennis by texting @faffg92 to 81010, and then wait for approval.  The former Remind group from last year will not be used in 2024.

Practice Dates & Times?

​

Unless we are playing a match, we will be practicing!  So what dates do we have practices then?  After you are appointed to a team (either J or JV), it is your responsibility to check the appropriate calendar and this website!  Once again - if you don't have a match, you're practicing.

 

If practices are outside on the CLMS courts, start times for the practices daily will run from right after school lets out until 5:30pm.  Although we may not practice until 5:30pm everyday, please plan on being there that whole time!

We may also use Saturday mornings for optional practices as well so please keep Saturday mornings open also until 10am.

The exception to these times can occur if we experience inclement weather!

Fundraiser

Our 2024 fundraising efforts were a success!!!  We raised over $7000.  Way to go team!

 

One significant donation to mention was a $1000 donation given to us by Morrie's/Subaru highlighted in the photo below.  Thank you Morrie's!  Thank you Subaru!

We Are A No-Cut Program

​

As a 'no-cut' program, we do not cut boys from the overall roster.  They are always welcome to come and practice and learn the game.  In this way their game is developed over time.  This does not mean though that we can always guarantee playing opportunities for them.  Because of the age of a boy, where they fall on a practice team, other team's rosters, transportation issues, and/or time constraints; it just may not be possible for every player to play in every match.  The only team that is mandated to play its players for a given number of matches is varsity.  But a boy has to earn his spot on the varsity team.
